M.A.N.A. Pasefika works to empower Pacific families to know their rights & options in reproductive care (Autonomy) & reconnect to cultural traditions as a source of health and well being (Ancestral kNowledge)

M.A.N.A. Pasefika opened in 2019 in response to a data disaggregation of A/PI (Asian/Pacific Islander) birth data in San Francisco, CA which led to the “discovery” that Pacific Islander families are experiencing high rates of preterm birth - second only to Black women - and highlighting the ongoing erasure
of Pasefika health disparities.

We currently offer on-going spaces for Mothers & Girls to meet and learn together, as well as birth navigation & lactation support services.
